When a nicotine patch passes its ‘best before’ date does it become harmful or just less effective?

nicotine
I have some old patches (Niquitin) which are a few weeks past their best before date & I want to know whether there would be any health risk to me if I used them.

What is the best way to quit smoking cheap?

quit smoking
Me and my husband both want to quit smoking. We don’t have alot of money so patches and stuff won’t work for us. Should we try to quit cold turkey or reduce daily?

What effect would a nicotine patch have on a non-smokers health?

nicotine
I’m not about to start using them but am wondering how harmful (long term) and addictive using the patches would be compared to smoking the cigarettes? Is it just the act of ingesting the nicotine through the lungs that is harmful?
I have heard that nicotine is actually a poison?
Just for the record:
I am not wanting to start wearing/using them. This is solely being asked from a curiousity point of view.

quit smoking, any herbal supplement?

herbal quit smoking
Hi,
I want to quit smoking and in the past the gums or patches did not work. Do you know any herbal supplement that would help me tame the cravings so that I don;t feel compelled to fire my entire staff over a period of two weeks?
thanks
