I quit smoking cigarettes 2 days ago and have been having allot of irritability which I am near positive is nicotine withdrawal but I am curious are tiredness, fatigue, arms and legs tingling/going to “sleep” often and lightheadedness and dizziness all symptoms as well? I am 21 years old smoked for 4 years a half pack a day and I am 6′2 at 145lbs if any of that matters.

I quit smoking yesterday, I smoked a half a pack a day. I was just wondering how long it will take to get out my system. also, will I still have withdrawls after the nicotine is out my system?

I recently got a whole bunch of test done for life insurance that I applied for and they checked for nicotine in my system. It came back as no nicotine in my system. I have smoked half a pack a day for over 10 years. How is that my test came up negative?

I really want to stop smoking before it takes a toll on me in any way. I hate the smell of cigarettes on my clothes and the transfer from my sheets to my bedding. We don’t smoke in our home except the bathroom. The main problem is I’ve tried to quit before (I smoke half a pack a day) but my DH smokes two packs a day and when he smokes when he gets home it makes it hard for me to quit. What do I do and/or what’s the best way to quit?

I’m 25 and smoke about half a pack a day. I want to stop smoking, so I’m thinking about getting a nicotine patch … how does that work? Do I need a prescription? How expensive are they and how long do I have to wear it? Do they have different ones depending on how much you smoke?
