I have some old patches (Niquitin) which are a few weeks past their best before date & I want to know whether there would be any health risk to me if I used them.

I AM HAVING SURGERY AND MY DOCTOR WANTS ME TO STOP SMOKING. I HAVE REALLY BEEN TRYING HARD, BUT AM NOT ABLE TO USE A NICOTINE PATCH BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT MY MD WANTS OUT OF MY SYSTEM. I HAVE CHEATED SOME, BUT OVER ALL HAVE DONE WELL. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE BEFORE NICOTINE WILL NOT SHOW UP IN A URINE TEST?

I have been wearing a patch, but not ready to go solo I have tried nicotine patches in the past as recommended, but failed to stay away from smoking, I get past the nicotine cravings, but the psychological side of it gets me all the time. Wearing a nicotin patch has really worked, but how long can I safely wear it for?

I am trying to quit smoking and I was using Nicotine patch for the last three days, But today After I take off the Nicotine patch I smoked three times ” I guess it didn’t help me
” So I was wondering How much health problem does using Nicotine patch and smoking at the same time will cuase?

I quit smoking today and I’m using a nicotine patch this time. Today wasn’t as rough as I thought it was going to be…..
Has anyone else been successful at quitting using these and did you use any other tricks to help you? I need all the help and advice I can get!! Thanks!

I heard that if you sleep at night with the patch still on you have wierd or crazy dreams…
and also if you have used the patch do literally feel the nicotine running through your system or no?

I believe that nicotine is the prime objective for smoking, however, I’ve found that the habit of pulling the cigarette and actually blowing the smoke out of your mouth is also addicting, too. Is this true? I am thinking of trying the nicotine patch, but will I miss the method of smoking and inhaling the nicotine?

I just started the nicotine patches cause im quiting and I have noticed that the patch tends to come off when I sweat. If i put tape over the patch to hold it on better, Will it still work 100 percent? Thanks for your help.

I was just wondering if you were currently using the birth control pill, and started using a nicotine patch (for the last couple weeks), if it could cause the effects of using a birth control pill to not work as effectively.
Or would it be just like taking the pill and being a smoker, since it’s still nicotine, only entering through the skin instead of the mouth?
