well i am wondering. was nicotine already in the tobacco plant or did the cigarette companies add it?

It’s obvious and has been for years that the most lethally addicting substance available is cigarettes. But tobacco doesn’t have any addicting ingredients, cigarette companies ADD nicotine to get consumers addicted. Why in the world is there a “war on drugs” when the most heinous drug is allowed everywhere?

I understand that it is found naturally in the plant but they spray more on it when they make the cancer sticks. How come they’re allowed to do this?

@JCS – I did not know that. I thought cigarette companies added nicotine to cigarettes. I always thought smoking a Marlboro or a Newport was more dangerous than smoking out of a hookah or rolling your own cigarettes.
