I am getting a a urine & blood test for life insurance and I am not supposed to have any nicotine in my system for the test. I have already quit a week ago but i was wondering if i needed to wait another week to take the urine & blood test. By the way i was using chewing tobacco not cigs.

My life insurance company wants to do a blood test for, among other things, nicotine. I quit nearly five months ago, will it still show up? I’d like to be considered a non-smoker, and I have no intention of starting again.

I have a blood test tomorrow at 4:00 PM and smoked a cigarette yesterday at about 7:30 PM. Will there be nicotine in my system? I only had one, and I smoke sparingly since I “quit” about 3 weeks ago.

I am being tested for nicotine in 2 weeks. if i stop smoking now will it be out of my blood? I will be tested specfically for this for a surgery I am having. The doctor wants to make sure I really quit for the time I need which is one month but blood test will be done 2 weeks before. Anyone know for sure if quitting from today for 2 weeks will clear it out of my body?

Spouse is having an insurance physical today. They take a blood sample and one of the tests is to see if you smoke. Three days ago, while with some friends they convinved him to smoke 1/2 of a cigar. How long will the nicotine be traceable in his blood?
